Fantastic weekend in Annascaul
August bank holiday weekend kicked off with a pub quiz, Tapas & music, a wonderful barbeque, the Sunday market and great music sessions throughout the village. This brought a wonderful atmosphere to Annascaul village. The weather was good so all could be enjoyed.
Wild Atlantic Way
An Post have just released a series of four new stamps celebrating the Wild Atlantic Way. One of these stamps is at Inch Beach and Annascaul is mentioned on it. According to An Post, the new stamps contain a new twist, as each “features augmented reality technology and, when scanned using a smartphone or tablet with the CEE App installed, allows the user to access additional material on the Wild Atlantic Way”.
Annascaul Road Race
Pole to Pole Annascaul 10K Road Race &5 K Fun Walk/Jog/ Run
Saturday 6th August @11am
Reg fee €25.00 for the 10K race, €10.00 for the 5 k Fun run Children accompanied by adults are welcome on the 5 K Walk/Jog/run(No dogs/bikes) Registration for both events from 7am at Annascaul Sports hall.
Both events will be time chipped
