A community based celebration of Annascaul in 1916 will take place in the village on Easter Weekend.
There will be something for all ages including guided walks, seanchai storytelling, historical talks, an exhibition, a street party, an egg hunt, a treasure hunt as well as music and dancing.
Why not invite your family and friends home so we can all celebrate our village together?
We would love to source artefacts or photos from life in the early 20th century, up to the 1930s for the exhibition. If you would be willing to donate anything, however small or large, or would prefer to bring relevant objects to display for about 2 hours, please contact Patricia 087 202 7086 or Moira 087 697 0311
